BSOD :: When Playing League Of Legends Or Browsing?

Aug 27, 2015

I upgraded from 7 to 10 and began getting crashes when playing LoL and Fallout 3 and occasionally when sitting at the desktop.

I tried making a clean install and have subsequently had a few crashes.

1. After trying to install the Windows 7 sound driver (W10 not available)
2. After messing around with the playback device settings
3. While playing League of Legends
4. While on Chrome after restarting and finishing the LoL game in point 3

BSOD :: While Playing League Of Legends?

Dec 26, 2015

I keep getting a BSOD (KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) when playing LoL for around 30 minutes. I have ran memtest, furmark for my GPU test, and I did the CPU stress test. All ran fine when testing them and nothing got too hot. I'm thinking maybe it's driver related?

Cannot Open League Of Legends - 0xc000007b Is Missing

Aug 18, 2015

When I try to open league of legends, i can't because this error (title) shows up. i upgraded from Windows 7, and i am opening league from the 760gb partition of the 1tb hdd i had w7 installed on. i have now w10 on the rest of it. when i googled for a solution, i was told that if i installed Windows c++ 2010/2012 redistributable, this would stop showing up, but the thing is that those aren't compatible with Windows 10, so i canĀ“t install them. i also reinstalled directx 11.2 and c++2015. well, that's about it. Other games (world of warcraft, other steam games) are working ok.

When Play League Of Legends Computer Says (Input Not Supported) Or (No Signal) And Then Shuts Down

Aug 3, 2015

I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday, and at first, everything was fine, but when I play league of legends, randomly, my computer just says "input not supported" or "no signal" or sometimes nothing at all, and then shuts down. This never happened before I upgraded to Windows 10. I went back to Windows 8.1, but it still shuts down in the middle of league games. Again, never happened before going to Windows 10. Is it my GPU? or CPU? or PSU?

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H105 73.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G55 SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
Storage: Intel 530 Series 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card
PSU: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Also, the SSD is my boot drive and has league on it, it has only about 35GB out of 240GB left.

BSOD :: Various Types Usually During Browsing / Gaming

Oct 26, 2015

I upgraded recently to Windows 10, my computer has always had some random BSOD problems but now it's definitely worse, it used to be only while watching videos (on windows media player) then occasionally on gaming,

Now it even happens while browsing and the errors vary from one type to the other, no real constant. I read a bit online and I tried doing a verifier check but my CPU went into a blue screen bootloop so that didn't really solve my problem (had to reopen in safe mode and undo the colossal mess that was)

Not sure where else to go from there. I followed the guidelines and have uploaded a zip of the debug log, I sure hope that will give a good starting point...

BSOD :: Browsing Internet / Streaming Videos

Nov 4, 2015

I have had an issue of my computer Blue screening multiple times over the past few weeks. The frequency has increased and I cannot replicate the issue on demand, it comes and goes by itself. The first time I noticed this was when my computer BSODed when I was streaming a video to my Chromecast. Once the computer restarted, it did not have any further issues. However, these past few days when I was browsing the net, my computer was BSOD on its own without really doing anything resource intensive. Is there any way this can be fixed? BSOD :: Crash While Browsing Or Watching Videos?

Nov 20, 2015

My issue doesn't really happen while playing games. It happened once while I was in a game. I simply spend more time not playing games, so imo it makes sense that this crash happens while I'm not playing games. I don't know.

The primary display goes solid green and the secondary screen goes black. The audio - if playing - repeats the last few miliseconds of whatever was playing just before the screen changed.

e: I guess I should mention that this doesn't happen very frequently. Usually once every few days. The quickest it's been to repeat itself was when it happened two days in a row, but after that it didn't happen again until a few days later.

BSOD :: During Gaming And Sometimes When Watching Netflix / Browsing?

Jan 23, 2016

I upgraded my video card to a MSI Radeon R9 390 recently. But my Motherboard is a Gigabyte Model: GA-870A-UD3. It is running on PCI-e 2.0 rather than 3.0 but I don't know how to verify that this is what is causing the BSOD.

I am also running two types of RAM in my computer:
Corsair 2x 2GB RAM
Kingston 2x 8GB 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL11

I have a Corsair HX650 as a powersupply. I would've thought that this PSU is sufficient for the hardware that I'm running.

I play games such as GTA V, Starcraft II, Counter Strike: GO and it crashes at random times - sometimes even in the menu screen.

Look forward to hearing back form you and telling me what type of tests I can do to try and find the root cause.

BSOD :: While Browsing On Internet Or Watching A Movie - Bad Pool Caller

Jan 5, 2016

I'm having for a while a BSOD Bad pool caller. All the drivers and software in my OS are up to date. I don't think it's a memory problem, the Windows Memory Diagnostic gave me no errors, I also tried the SFC /SCANNOW to try fixing the file systems, and also chkdsk /r to check and the disk integrity, but everything seems cool. I did all types of virus/malware scans with mcafee and malwarebytes, my system still seems clean.

I'm using a ACER Aspire E5 - 511 - P29D: Intel Pentium quad core processor N3540.

It doesn't happen at a particular moment, I can be browsing on the Internet or watching a movie. And it's not frequent, it happens every 3 or 4 days. It started 6, 7 weeks ago, after I did a upgrade to Windows 10. I haven't made any change to my computer yet.

BSOD :: Hard Freezes During Streaming Videos / Gaming / Web Browsing

Feb 10, 2016

A friend of mine gifted me with a plethora of new hardware, to the point where I had to buy a new mobo. Did a fresh install of Win10 in the hopes to not run into driver issues and it was solid for about a week. Recently, however crashes have been happening with some regularity, every other day or so, especially when streaming. This is the first time it's actually given a blue screen. Showed the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error message.

BSOD :: Always Happens When Try Playing A Game

Jan 30, 2016

I've had BSOD's before and here's that thread in case it may prove useful: "Old BSOD's thread" Unfortunately I'm having issues again now.

Here's the dm log collector file below:

TCC-PC-Sat_01_30_2016_191706_67.zip

It contains all BSOD's from the last 4 days...

My rambles, if at all useful: With some of the errors I've gotten from my BSOD's and my game, I could see the issue possibly having to do with bad memory, but it is just a theory. There's also a very good chance that my integrated Intel graphics or my discrete Nvidia graphics could be causing the issues, cause they did cause BSOD's in the past. Though, as axe0 suggested in my old thread, I disabled my Nvidia graphics so there would be no conflict between the two. This did work for a little while, but as said earlier, I'm now having issues again, even with Nvidia disabled.

BSOD :: Crashing Only When Playing Certain Games

Feb 10, 2016

So I get those crashes where my screen freezes and then goes dark ( lost signal). It happens at random with Blade and Soul , and happens every 5 minutes with World of Warcraft.

This started like 2 months ago before that the screen would just flash and I'd get the "display driver stopped responding and recovered".

Yesterday ( 02/16/2016) I got 5 crashes and I got 1 today.

What I already tried:

A lot of different versions of AMD drivers ( using DDU to install the new ones)
Reset windows 10 on a lot of occasions
Removed Windows 10 auto updater.
Tried the amd support forums ( it only made matters worse)
Tried the World of warcraft support forums ( also only made matters worse)

Here is the dump file:

BSOD :: Freezing When Playing Games?

Oct 18, 2015

in the last few days when playing games (BFBC2, BF3 and Sticky Bomb), my computer has been freezing at various points (sometimes within a minute, sometimes after 2 hours), and on reboot i get BSOD sometimes with different error messages such as "system_services_exception".

After the initial reboot BSOD i seem to sometimes get a 2nd BSOD such as "system_thread_unhandled_exception", "IRQOL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and other error messages. Occasionally after rebooting I get a freeze just on desktop screen, which never happens unless I have just had a freeze in game.

Before this started happening I have installed a new sound card and installed new drivers for my graphics card. I have since tried taking out the sound card (same problem seen) and also rolling back to the previous nvidia drivers with no avail.

I tried running memtest, but after 2 hours it was only over 50% so gave up for now, but at that point it hadn't seen any errors.

My rig is:

Asus M5A97 R2.0
16 GB Corsair Vengence
MSI GTX 970
AMD FX-8350 4.2GHz
Asus Xonar DGX
Corsair 750Watt PSU
win 10 64 bit

The games I'm getting these problems with are Killing Floor 2, Fallout 4, and GTA V. I'm not doing anything in particular to cause these crashes, they seem to just happen over a certain amount of time, with Killing Floor 2 about 15 minutes of game play.
