I just setup my new Dell XPS 15, but I am having issues with Adobe CC. Whenever I open an app, close it, and open another I get a KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE BSoD. It only happens with Adobe CC. I have attached a screenshot of the WhoCrashed report : [URL] ....

I'm using 2 languages to type. Mostly English but when chatting to my parents in Skype for example, I switch to Bulgarian (Cyrillic Alphabet) keyboard input.
Back in Windows 7 if I was to open an application (Skype for example) and switch to Bulgarian keyboard I could type in Bulgarian, but if I was to open a web browser for example, thus minimizing Skype, I would continue to type in English without the need to switch between languages. Simply put Windows 7 would remember what language input I have switched to in a certain application and would automatically switch to it.
Now since installing Windows 10 every time I switch to Bulgarian, the input for every single application changes to Bulgarian, and if I was to switch back to English then they all change to English input.
So... is there an option somewhere to prevent this from happening?
How to solve my various BSOD events with windows 10. My windows logs are also full of critical errors.
Essentially, every few days, (I can't replicate the issue at will), after I've used my laptop (Fujitsu u904 Lifebook) on it's docking station (Network via Ethernet), when I reboot off the docking station (Network via WiFi) I get a combination of errors. These range from:
- a message saying that Windows was unable to start the The Group Policy Client
- a blank desktop with no shortcuts
- clicking on the start button doesn't work (but the windows key does)
While not all thee errors happen together, what does happen is that I'm unable to connect to Wifi and the network icon is not visible in the tray.
I know error this is about to happen, because when I power down from the docking station (I never take or put my laptop on/off it without it being powered down), I hear an error sound and then when next rebooting (off the dock), the Wifi symbol on the lock screen before entering the password has changed to the Wifi symbol with a small circle at the top left. Sure enough my windows event logs show various errors including a number listed as error No 7031,
I'm not a techie but read elsewere that if this happens, entering "netsh" & "winsock reset" from the admin screen does solve the problem after rebooting, but I'm having to do this every couple of days.

I keep getting a fatal error message with Adobe reader v x1 and I can't uninstall it or install any adobe patches or updates. I can't reset my PC either. Cannot open some of my anti malware software either.
View 2 Replies I cannot give a lot of details about the PC because it is not mine and the user does not want to give a lot out (not sure why). However, it has Windows 10 64-bit and is very powerful (i7, 16 GB ram, 2TB hdd). Whenever I go to switch users or log off, the screen goes black. There is no cursor and the keyboard buttons stop working (i.e. light for Num Lock doesn't light up). The only way to get back onto the computer is to force shutdown by holding the power button. There are no problems with the initial boot or login, only when you go to "switch users" or "log off". The computer resources are not being taxed and the heat is in control. I do not receive any BSOD, only a black screen with no response.
I have tried:
- Removing an update from Windows 10 that caused boot loops
- Rolling back video driver
- Installing NVIDIA driver updated 10.7.2015
- Ran sfc /scannow (found errors but couldn't fix it)
- Ran DIMS after and it found nothing to remove
- Ran dskchk and did not have any problems
- Searched over five hours for a solution
- Changed power settings to never sleep for: Display, PC, HDD
- Disabled USB service that was causing a different issue
- No egregious problems in Event Viewer
- I checked registry for proper paths before and after sleep mode/shut down/boot and that was also fine (explorer.exe I believe)
My friend says that, in no way, will he reload Windows 10 because it was just recently loaded and was working originally.
I've experienced multiple BSOD's in a while now. It occurs several times every day. I thought it was an issue with my graphics card, since it often occured using Adobe Illustrator and other GPU needing applications. Today I replaced my graphics card and I got a BSOD a few minutes later.

Didn't notice until recently that the shortcut to Adobe Acrobat reader is not there and I can't find it in my programs. I was worried about some documents that i had recorded in ecosign but when i typed ecosign into the Search Bar it led me to the site and everything is there except my electronic signature This leads me to think that Adobe is in there somewhere. In going to their site I see that Adobe 11 seems to be the latest. Should I just download it? Before Windows 10 Adobe always sent me update notices.

View 2 RepliesI have a user that is testing out windows 10 and Acrobat DC keeps crashing when saving a.pdf. Tried different .pdf's same result. I have UN-installed dc and re-installed it and still same problem. I don't think this is a problem with Windows 10 as I have had this issue before in windows 7 as well. The only resolution so far is to put Acrobat 11 pro back on. Unfortunately our Manager want us to move toward DC.

This morning I attempted download a PDF file, but was told that the file "couldn't be downloaded". I assumed my copy of Acrobat Reader had become corrupted, so uninstalled it. I then attempted to download and reinstall Acrobat Reader, only to get the following message, "readerdc_en_fb_install.exe couldn't be downloaded". Assuming that Edge may be the problem, I attempted download and install Chrome. But this also resulted in the same message that I received with Acrobat.
I have downloaded and installed all Windows 10 updates through those released yesterday (Friday, 12/4/2015). I have changed nothing with Windows Firewall or Internet Options since originally installing Windows 10 in August.
To make things more confusing, I installed Acrobat Reader in an Acer Aspire V3 laptop this morning, which also is up to date with Win10. Then I successfully downloaded the original PDF file that I referred to above. Therefore I assume something may have become corrupted in my desktop, an HP Pavilion HP8-1234, during the one of the recent Windows 10 updates.
I loaded Windows 10, which works well, but Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 has disappeared?

It keeps writing itself on my registry too it's very annoying as i DONT USE ANYTHING FLASH RELATED (html5 ftw) NOR DO I USE IE (firefox) in fact i disabled IE under 'turn windows features on or off'.

a few days ago I installed Windows 10 from Windows 7. All was OK, so far. I have an Adobe file in my desktop. But the icon showed is always black (no thumbnail) since Windows 10. (see image attached) So I clean both icon and thumbnail caches, and increase the Max Icons Cache for Explorer to 4096.
But without success. After rebooting Windows 10 the right thumbnail is shown, but after few minutes the thumnail is black again.I use a Laptop COMPAQ CQ58, 32-Bit Windows 10 Pro, 4GB RAM
Most programs on my Adobe CS3 work just fine in Windows 10, but I'm having problems with Illustrator. The program will run, but I get an error message every time I try to open a file or start a new document. My error message says "The program has stopped working" and it forces me to close the program.
I've tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the entire Creative Suite, and filing a compatibility report, but nothing has worked so far. My mom is using the same user certificate on her Windows 10 machine and it works perfectly, but I haven't had any luck with my computer. What I can do?

The same file will get the same message in AI CS on this or any other Mac in the office. Clicking the ok button will open the file but the is nothing shown in the window besides the basic AI screen.
(We are using AI 10 due to compatiblity issue between us and our vendors.) Is there away to repair this file or get the data out of it? This is a project that is still in progress.
I downloaded 7-zip and am trying to compress a sound file and my system saves the file to PDF Adobe format. This means that I cannot open the file.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling 7-zip but it isn't working.
just installed windows 10 but when I try to access some games I get the message to install adobe flash but then am told it is already installed on my system.

A real problem as pretty much all the sites my daughter wants to use needs flash player! I know this is not an isolated problem to us as I've seen other posts elsewhere - but no resolution as yet.
View 1 RepliesI read a lot of stuff on the internet and it seemed the prevailing solution for this problem is to go into Settings/System/Default Apps and then set the default according to the file extension.
Been there, done that, at least 5 times. And it still opens with Edge and changes the default back to Edge. Microsoft doesn't want you controlling anything, do they?
How do I change this and make Adobe Reader the default, once and for all?

View 4 RepliesSince I upgraded to 10 I have an issue that occurs when I have multiple windows open; when I click the taskbar to switch program to something that is already minimised or in the background, such as a new settings screen, or any other screen which doesn't automatically maximise to full screen resolution, it will just disappear behind all other open windows. So for example, if I have chrome open and want to go to steam (or anything either unopened, minimised or in the background) I would click on the program in taskbar, the screen will flash up - but as soon as I move my cursor towards it (ie away from the taskbar), the screen that is already open will take priority and send the new screen to the back. This is rather frustrating and I've never had this problem before.
I'm not sure whether it is a taskbar problem or a window priority issue? But, I just can't seem to fix the issue.
To temporarily solve it, I have had to minimise all windows to get to the new window that I want - as it will just go to the back (unless I either quickly move my mouse to it, or if the screen is maximised and at the top already) and this isn't ideal.
