Oct 8, 2015My laptop is a Sony Vaio E series running windows 10, for whatever reason it has stopped loading the Microsoft Solitaire Collection, it gets to the page and the loading will stay there forever. I have experienced many minor problems since upgrading to windows 10, it gives one the feeling windows 10 is still in beta form.

Sep 1, 2015I was exploring Windows 10 tonight for the first time and noticed that in my Application list off the Start Menu it shows that I have Microsoft Solitaire Collection installed and I thought I would give it a try. When I launch the app it displays a splash screen for the app momentarily then the window closes.
I have checked task manager and I don't see the app running so there must be some issue with the way the program is installed so I thought perhaps the best thing to do is to remove it and then reinstall it. I went into Control Panel and checked the Installed applications and could not find an entry for it in the list. I went out to the Store and I can find the app and it tells me that it's currently installed but doesn't seem to provide a means to remove the app or reinstall it. How to fix the app or remove it from Windows 10 so I can reinstall it?
How To Reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection
Oct 9, 2015The last time I used the collection it closed suddenly on me. When I tried to re-open it I pushed all the correct buttons but nothing happened apart from a quick flash of the initial page then it said it was loading but all I then got was the endless dots going around in circles and nothing else. I looked up different support forums for a fix and chose one that said I should uninstall the collection and then re-install. So I went to start/apps/Microsoft solitaire and uninstalled it.
I left it for a day and then coming back to it yesterday I tried to re-install it. Found the relevant page where it said "You own this product and can install it on this device."
clicked install and then got the working dots and then endless dots,
so far the 'working .......' have been running for an hour now and still it goes on.
How long does it take to re-install?

Jan 1, 2016After upgrading Win 8.1 to Windows 10 with the assurance that it would be a seamless upgrade with no loss of apps, I now find that attempts to open the subject apps only produce a momentary Splash screen. I am of the opinion that these apps have been removed from the Win10 upgrade.

Jan 4, 2016I am trying to open Windows Update under Settings and it will not load. It's just a blank page where Windows Update usually is. Also, under Settings and Windows Update I can't click on Windows Defender, Backup, Recovery, Activation, or Fore Developers.
Also, I have tried to open the Windows Store and the wheel keeps spinning. That's all it will do.
I can't make a screenshot because I can't get the screenshot to paste in paint.
So basically, the problem is that I can't open anything except for Microsoft Edge which is what I am now because the Windows 10 applications are not working properly.
Websites Not Loading Properly Since Update
Aug 2, 2015Since I updated to Windows 10 websites are not loading properly, but not all the time, sometimes they load as fast and normal than ever and some others they don't load at all and I need to hit refresh like 10 times for them to show up. It doesn't matter what website it is, the problem is with every one of them and also its persistent with every web browser (Edge, FF, Chrome). I have a laptop in my home too and it loads websites as it should be so it's not an internet or modem problem.

If i enter a different PIN: " the PIN is incorrect"
It is worth mentioning that i changed my PIN several times but with no result.

Aug 6, 2015I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 this past week. All is well except for one thing. I received an update from Microsoft yesterday (Cumulative Update for Win 10 - KB3081424) and noted during the installation that no restore point was created. System Protection is ON and I am able to create restore points manually. Thus, this is only a minor annoyance since I can successfully create these points on my own. However, I would prefer for the system to do so when important updates from Microsoft come down. I guess it is possible that the update referenced above did not generate such a point but found that unusual since it is listed as a Cumulative Update.

Aug 17, 2015So my Surface 3 updated itself yesterday, and when I woke up today the majority of the icons I had pinned to my taskbar and my start menu are gone. I've been able to find and pin programmes like "Weather" back to the start menu, but others have completely disappeared, most frustrating of all is Edge.
I can open Edge if I open Cortana and select a news item. When I do that Edge opens full screen, but doesn't deposit an icon on the task bar, so I can't select it. Also, when I swipe in from the left or choose Task View, Edge does not show as an available programme. Changing in and out of tablet mode does nothing.
Also, my PC is just fine.

Aug 15, 2015As I encounter problems with my Lan driver Realtek and Windows 10 Pro 64, somone on the forum said me to download the last version from Microsoft update catalog which seems the good one.
So I downloaded the driver but it is a .cab file. When I unpacked the files I obtain four files : a .cat file, a .inf file, a .sys file and a .DLL file. There is no setup.exe file....
I tried to install the driver using the command "HDWWIZ". It sees the .inf file but noting installs..
Networking :: Unable To Connect To Internet After Automatic Online Update By Microsoft
Jan 13, 2016After automatic online updates by MS the system was automatically set offline by MS!
Notes:
a) hardware is ok - verified by other OS
b) network connections were ok during automatic update and are still ok verified by other OS systems
c) the automatic update is the only change in the software
d) the only message was from MS browser "we are sorry you are not connected to Internet"!
Questions:

(2/5) Windows 10 advices to use online support in the situation MS update set PC offline, why ?
(3/5) How can one use online support after having forced to offline ?

I can guarantee you it is not just a coincidence. My computer could be running for days without any problem but as soon as I start playing Solitaire this happens.
Not Loading Many Of The Website
Sep 15, 2015I just installed Windows 10. I'm having problems loading many of the websites I used to visit when I had Windows 8.1 installed. I'm getting the message "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate." with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge just shuts down when certain websites are accessed, Wikipedia and pbase.com for example.
Also, Facebook won't display any images or allow me to upload images.
Infinite Loading Screen
Aug 3, 2015When I boot up windows 10 it goes into a loading screen with a purple (my accent color) background and loads forever. This was completely random after a normal restart, it had worked fine up till now.
I made a windows 10 installation disk to acess repair options. Tried every single option on it with no luck (including scf scan, dskchk, and other CMD prompts) every one gives some sort of error or reason for not working, what can I do? I can get the specific error messages for a few methods if needed but it's very time consuming as my usb stick keeps giving an error after a few reboots of messing with command prompts, and I have to redownload windows 10 let it verify and copy over to the drive which is an hour long process.
