How To Display Last Order Date

I have a customer table with an address Column and an Order table with a OrderDate column .

I would like to create a Query that would display the customer address and only the Last order made.

So far I was only able to display the address and and all the Order dates.

Continuous Subform Display Order

I have buttons that enable and disable editing/adding information on a continuous form.

When you click add the form then is set to allowadditions and shows you the * record. Is it possible to have that display at the top of the list instead of the bottom? If not, what would be the best method to move the focus to the new record when someone clicks add?

Access 97 Can Not Display Records By Entry Order

Access 97 does not display records in their original order of entry in a report or its query whether they are indexed or not. Results
are always in ascending or descending order even when sorting and groupings are not set. Any suggestions?

How To Refresh Subform In Order To Display All Rows

I have created a form and a subform from a table.

Initially I created a table with 11 rows. After completion of my project I added an extra of 480 rows to the main table. But the newly added rows are not coming in my subform.

Attached is my project.

Main : Main table (It consists of around 491 rows)
MForm : Main Form (It shows of only 11 records which I was 1st created)

How to refresh my subform inorder to display all the rows.

Modules & VBA :: Combo Box Will Not Display List In Correct Order

I have code attached to a command button to fill a Combo Box with data from a music collection. A letter of the alphabet is entered into a Text Box then records beginning with that letter are copied from a table, either by Artist or Title. They are saved to a temporary table at which time they are in no particular order. Those records are copied to a further table and saved in alphabetical order. This table is then used to fill the Combo Box.

I used two temporary tables because the records were not displayed in the correct order. I hoped this might cure it, it did not. The records are in order in the table but not in the Combo Box.

Forms :: SubForm To Display Test Results In Date Order

I am having an issue with the sort order on a subform.

Basically I have a main form with Client Details and a subform hich displays the associated test results for this client. Each client can have multiple test results which should be displayed in date order.

Initially the form was based on the table 'TestResults' and I set up the form with the Orderby property set to the field 'TestDate' and OrderByOnLoad set to True. This didn't work and the records were displayed in random order.

Next I tried setting up the form based on an SQL query with the field 'TestDate' sorted in Ascending order - same result. Tried this with OrderBy and OrderByOnLoad both set/unset as a pair and individually - always the same result.

How can I get the subform to display the test results in date order?

I have a database that stores information for lab testing. Each time a tech does a "step" in the test process he logs it in the table, using an input form. There are different categories, for example preparation, testing, analysis, etc, and each of those steps take time. I have the form autopopulate the date and time with NOW() evertime the form is updated. What i want to do is calculate the time it takes to do each in days. I can easily get how many days it was from now since they logged the test, =NOW()-TestDateTime. What I want to do is get the number of days it took to do each step, ie the number of days between each event. Is there a way to do this?

Reports :: Output Access Reports As JPG To Display In Pictures Screen Saver

I have been tasked with creating a database to log employee suggestions and then automatically present reports around the site. I have developed the database and it works OK and can output *.PDF reports, but I'm having problems with how to display these reports. My idea was to output the reports automatically as *.TIFF or *.JPG files and have them stored in a folder that the My Pictures screensaver uses. The reports (in fact, any site report stored in this folder) can then be shown on any screen dotted around the site when it goes into screensaver mode. However I can't find any way to output/convert to a picture file.

The other option is to create a webpage that rotates through the saved PDFs, but this isn't ideal as the PC users will have to load the webpage to display the reports.

I am trying to produce statistics reports in my database. The user selects the information they require in a form (date from, date to etc). A query then produces the results listing each job in turn which is what I want however at the end I would like to produce sub-totals for each client.

Depending on the criteria selected by the user, only some clients will appear in the list. Ideally I would like the footer to show something like:

Client 1 - 4 jobs
Client 2 - 1 job
Client 5 - 6 jobs
Client 6 - 17 jobs

I have tried using the field:

I have a report that generates the position of certain items. When I produce this report it doesn't put the data in order. All associated data with that position is correct, it is just not in numerical order. The attached screenshot shows the issue I am having. In the position column it should read 1,2,3,4 but in some cases the positions are not in order.

I am using Access 2007-2010 and I was able to create a report but now I want to include a stacked bar in it.

My report shows one record at a time, so the values for my chart change accordingly. The chart should have four columns: Student, Homemaker, Retired, Employed I have assigned a colour for each category in "Edit" mode (by clicking separately on each column). However, sometimes the results don't show all four values and then my stacked chart only has 3 categories, but I would like it to show the missing category and just have value as 0. But most importantly the colours get all messed up. Can I permanently assign a color for each column?

Also the order is not how I want it to show. Right now it's in alpha order..how can i customize the order of the columns?

I tried doing this in datasheet - saved; but when I switch to a report view - everything changes back...

I have a column graph I created for a report.

The Y axis has number of days.

The X axis has Member ID.

When I make the column graph the data seems to not be in any order. The report is in order by the number of days in ascending order.

How can I have the columns with the largest number show up first and the columns get smaller. I would like the largest column all the way to the left, proceeding the next one in size so it goes from largest to smallest.

Detailed search cannot answer my time problem. Returning after long break in programming, I am trying to create a form to display TimeIn and TimeOut fields such that actioning an OnClick command (or separate tick-box), TimeIn field will hold current time for that record. Need to set the same for a TimeOut field. Both cases time always to be < 24 hours.

Am so rusty on MS Access putting default value as =now() produces an error!!
Any basic help to wind up the old mind always appreciated.

However, lots of subreports contain records less than 8. Now I need to use same report to save each order in a specific folder on my computer in pdf format. However I would like to have the file generated as follows ordernumber "-" clientname.pdf. This way each order is saved in the same folder without overwriting the previous one.

hi, i have created a form and would like to display todays date and time in the following format

this will literally be just on the form, no link to anything or any extra dynamic features. just there for the user's benefit

if anyone could tell me the steps that need to be taken, im guessing some formatting will need to be done, or some script will need to be placed in the form event code builder.

Date/time Display In A Form

I have two fields in a form that are both bound to the same date/time control source. One is for the date, one for the time. Using the format and input mask properties is some help. But when the focus is on the field the entire date + time displays. I would like the date field to show just the date portion and the time to show just the time portion, but haven't figured out how yet.

Display Shift Based On Time

I'm making a dispatch call database that will be sorted at the end of the month based on call types and which shift that call was originated on. Our shifts are 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a.

I am figuring that the time would be converted to minutes and then the display would be figured based on which times the minutes occured between. IE: the call origintaed at 0100hrs = 60 minutes. It would figure that 60minutes translates to "Night Shift".

How would I convert time into minutes and how would the if/then be established?

List Box Won't Display Time Correctly

What I want is for the "Time In" column in the listbox to show the time as hh:mm, just like the other two. The listbox is pointing to the table correctly, as evidenced by all the data showing up, but what floors me is despite the "sign_in" table showing time in all three columns in the desired format of hh:mm, the listbox seems to have its own thoughts about how to display the called data.
