SQL Dumper Library Failed - Error On Boot

Sep 19, 2007

I just added a post but I don't see it so here I go agian, sorry if it shows up later and there ends up being two of them.
I started getting the error message - SQL Dumper Library failed ... Please reinstall... it doesn't say what to reinstal. Does anyone know if this is part of Office or XP? My problem started when I added Office 2007 and the additional Business contacts program from the web site.
I did get SQL 2005 and installed it but it says it isn't working. When I click to repair it, it wants the disk, again I don't know what disk or program it wants, although it will not fix it from the XP disk.
Any help would be appreciated!

Java.sql.SQLException: I/O Error: SSO Failed: Native SSPI Library Not Loaded.

Dec 5, 2006

Hi,

I tried to connect to SQLServer from a java application using jTDS driver jars, with Windows authentication. The following error is thrown,

java.sql.SQLException: I/O Error: SSO Failed: Native SSPI library not loaded. Check the java.library.path system property.

From the above error i realised that the ntlmauth.dll is to be loaded to path. I compiled and run the application as follows,

java -Djava.library.path=<dll_lib_path>

still i get the same error,

any suggestions to overcome this error.

regards,
Shefu

Not Able To Initialize Scripting Engine

Nov 27, 2006

I have a DTS package that is running under SQL 2005 (64-bit Itanium).  It has a data driven query in it and I receive the following error:

ActiveX Scripting Transform 'DTSTransformation__1' was not able to initialize the script execution engine

I don't want to have to re-register any DLLs if I don't have to.  Shouldn't this work out of the box?

Any ideas?

I understand from some threads here that it is an issue related to contacting the AD. In event viewer it is not clear what is casuing this. I have WSS databases, Biztalk server databases.....and some other user databases. NO home made applications contact sql server.

What is the best route to follow to see who is not being able sometimes and why contacting the AD. I read the thread at URL.... but it is related to express 2005 and it does not apply to my case.

Failed To Initialize Distributed COM (CoInitializeEx Returned 80010119).

I'm receiving this error message when trying to install SQL Server 2005 Express Edition on Windows Vista Home Premium:

The error was [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]The server could not load DCOM.. Refer to the server error logs and Setup logs for detailed error information.

In the ERRORLOG file, the error is:

There is no Component Services in the Control Panel. Do they just mean Services? If so, how do you configure DCOM in the Services?

Sp_browsereplcmds Causes Failed To Initialize The Common Language Runtime...

On test-machine the procedure works fine, on production in doesn't.
I checked performance. Test machine has about 180MB available memory, production about 160MB (nearly constant). Thread count for process sqlservr is constant and similar at about 65.

Any idea why it runs on test but not on production machine?

Unspecified Error -2147467259 Using Singleton Pattern

Dec 5, 2007

Hello, we've developed an application that runs on AXIM X51, if it is an important to know.

The data layer handles the connection using the singleton pattern, a bit of code of this is:

(....)
Private Shared ceConnection As SqlCeConnection
(....)

Public Shared Function GetConnection() As SqlCeConnection
Try
If (ceConnection Is Nothing) Then
ceConnection = New SqlCeConnection(Me.connectionString)
End If

If (ceConnection.State = ConnectionState.Closed) Then
ceConnection.Open()
End If

Return ceConnection
Catch ex As Exception
Throw ex
End Try
End Function

(....)

So far nothing strange. We started experiencing problems when the end-users get an "Unspecified error" which later debugging it we got the href value inside the exception object is -2147467259 and nothing else. And if that wasn't enough I couldn't replicate the error in my pocket.

The only way I got the same error was removing the SD Card where the db is located at the same time the application was still open.

Does anybody experienced the same problem??? I researched about this kind of errors "when the device is just restored from the suspend mode" but with out luck.

Please, I really appreciate any help with this issue. Any comment will be more than welcome.

SQL Server 2000 - DTS Package Failure - Error: -2147467259 (80004005); Timeout Expired

Feb 5, 2008

Hi All,

I've had a DTS Package scheduled to run every morning since June last year, however on Monday and again this morning, the DTS package has failed on two of its steps. This DTS package runs on SQL Server 2000 and the server is a Windows 2000 Server.

Basically, the DTS Package steps that fail are populating a "cache" table from a "live" table and then performing Inserts / Updates on the "live" table from a CSV file depending upon whether data exists in the "cache" table and whether the CSV file contains an "Insert" or "Update" flag. The live table has just over 800,000 rows of data and our nightly CSV extract, containing both inserts and updates, has about 6000 rows.

The error / failure has only happened in the last two days and I'm not too sure if there's any "timeout" feature in DTS and if there is, how I can modify it, or whether this may be something to do with long transactions or temp dbspace running out.

The time that the DTS package runs was modified last week to run two hours earlier (03:00 instead of 05:00) and has ran okay for a few days. I don't know whether this change is a red herring, as I have checked other DTS packages on the machine and none appear to run at the same time.

Here's the message from the third step in the DTS Package (second one that's failing).

Any help is greatly appreciated as I've searched these forums and the web and can't really find any answers.

David

Error Connecting To SSIS - Error Loading Type Library/DLL

May 20, 2008

Hello,

I recently joined a company that is having an issue connecting to SQL Server Integration Services on one of their production servers. When trying to connect via management studio, both locally and remotely, they receive the error below. The server is a 64 bit server and is using third party replication (Veritas).

It sort of sounds like the issue described in this knowledge base article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919224. However, we do not have a problem creating maintenance plans. I'd just give it a shot but its a production server and getting approval to do anything that modifies the registry with the registry replication setup is a pain, so I'd like to determine if there could be another cause first.

Initialize Error Connecting To SQL Server Database

Mar 8, 2006

Newbie strikes again..   I'm attempting to connect to a SQL Server database (using VS 2005).  My code generated no errors in the build but when I tried to access the database, I got the following message:"The ConnectionString property has not been initialized."My connection string is stored in my web.config file.  My code goes as follows:Dim strSQL As String = "SQL string stored here"Dim objConnection as SqlConnection = New SQLConnection(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("name of connection string is here"))Dim objCommand as SQLCommand = New SqlCommand(strSQL, objConnection)objConnection.Open()Then I go on to open my reader and such.  Where should I be initializing the ConnectionString property?TIA,Lesley
