T-SQL (SS2K8) :: Multiple Databases - Return A Single Table With Three Columns

I have multiple databases in the server and all my databases have tables: stdVersions, stdChangeLog. The stdVersions table have field called DatabaseVersion which stored the version of the database. The stdChangeLog table have a field called ChangedOn which stored the date of any change made in the database.
I need to write a query/stored procedure/function that will return all the database names, version and the date changed on. The results should look something like this:

How can I modify the query to come up with output below,

I am facing a problem in writing the stored procedure for multiple search criteria.
I am trying to write the query in the Procedure as follows
Select * from Car where Price=@Price1 or Price=@price2 or Price=@price=3 and where Manufacture=@Manufacture1 or Manufacture=@Manufacture2 or Manufacture=@Manufacture3 and where Model=@Model1 or Model=@Model2 or Model=@Model3 and where City=@City1 or City=@City2 or City=@City3
I am Not sure of the query but am trying to get the list of cars that are to be filtered based on the user input.
I have a data flow task in which there is a OLEDB source, derived column item, and a oledb destination. My source is a SQL command, that returns some values. I have some values, that I define in the derived columns, and set default values under the expression column. My question is, I also have some destination columns which in my OLEDB destination need another SQL command. How would I do that? Can I attach two or more OLEDB sources to one destination? How would I accomplish that? Thanks
I'd like to first figure out the count of how many rows are not the Current Edition have the following:
Second I'd like to be able to select the primary key of all the rows involved
Third I'd like to select all the primary keys of just the rows not in the current edition
Not really sure how to describe this without making a dataset

Group by fails me because I only want the groups where the Edition_fk don't match...
I have created a single FULLTEXT on col2 & col3. suppose i want to search col2='engine' and col3='toyota' i write query as

Every thing works well if database is small. But now i have 20 million records in my database. Taking an exmaple there are 5million record with col2='engine' and only 1 record with col3='toyota', it take substantial time to find 1 record.
I was thinking this i can address this issue if i merge both columns in a Single column, but i cannot figure out what format i save it in single column that i can use query to extract correct information. for e.g.; i was thinking to concatinate both fields like col4= ABengineBA + ABBToyotaBBA and in search i use SELECT

But it don't work in following scenario col4= ABengineBA + ABBCorola ToyotaBBA

I am working with some old code that we are trying to clean up and perform some performance enhancements. The performance is now, so Very much better. From over 3 minutes to under 2 seconds.
But I am still trying to get the multiple rows into a single row. I would like to place this into a CTE to get the multiples into a single row. I just cannot get my head around how is the best, most efficient way to write the query.
This is a small example of what the rows look like in the resultset, and what I want to single to be.

I am not sure how to write the query to have all the data in a single row.
Each webmethod will be accessed thru a multiview on the page.
It would seem to me that I can describe the webmethods using a fully qualified stored proc name and that wouldn't cause a big problem. But, my question is what does that DATABASE=N'fadb' clause do?
Does anybody see a problem with using a single endpoint to access multiple databases?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this is my first web app using this data access method.
I've a requirement where I need to merge multiple rows in single rows. For example in the attached image output, I need to return a single column for type Case like this.

that above was my solution, get the relatedterms information and comma separate, and then put a # and get all the ids comma separate them and then put the in one field. then I can later parse it in the client
this does not seem like a very good solution ( or is it?) If posible it would be nice to get something like this
TermID, Term, RelatedTermsInformation 1 test RelatedTermsTwoDimentionalArray
but I am not sure how this idea could be implemented using the capabilities of SQL.
my other option is have the client make one call to the database to get the terms and then lots of another calls to get the relatedTerms, but that will mean one trip to the DB for the list term, and one call for every single term found.
I just need to add multiple catalogs to the same linked server, in Sql Server 2000 or Sql Server 2005. Here i need only to add 3 databases in to a single linked server name.
Hi, I'm planning to develop a project on .NET using Sql server 2005. Just stuck at a point where I need to decide that Should I use 2 or 3 huge databases with a lot of tables and data into it or should i create a lot of databases which would contain small chunks of data. Please let me know which option would give me a better performance. Thanks in advance

I have a backup that contains multiple databases. I am restoring it to a different server. How do I restore each database? Tried to restore under SQL Server Management Studio, but can only restore one of many from the backup (it appears it has only 1 logical file name in the backup) If you can refer me to a web page that would be great. I tried googling the topic but nothing seems to come up.

Also I read somewhere that if one mirrored DB fails, all other mirrored DB should also be transferred to the mirror.
For example: Let's say Srv1 (principle) and Srv2 (mirror) and Srv3(witness) are SQL servers with only default instances. The SQL instance has 4 DBs (DB1, DB2, DB3, DB4) and all of them are mirrored to Srv2.

If DB2 failsover to Srv2 (mirror), why should all other DBs be failedover?
Scenario is like that single dept can have multiple LocationHeads, If Location heads are multiple then they should display in single column using *starting the name as mentioned bottom under required output.

[MostPopularName] is [PersonNames.PopularVotes DESC].[NameSearch] combines all records from [PersonNames.PersonName] and [AltNames.AltNames].

I have to mirror 3 DBs on my sql server instance . I have restored there full backups and log backups on mirror.I have also created endpoints on principal and mirror using default ports 5022 and 5023.
know if i can use the same endpoint for the databases on principal instance ?
I am trying to replace all special characters in a column with one special character.
Example:

I am trying to get the namepart to the left of ANY special character. To achieve this, I am thinking of replacing all the special characters with a single special character so that I can find the first occurrence of that special character and grab left of the special character (SUBSTRING/CHARINDEX). This way I don't need to loop through all the special characters.

I have a one to many relationship between Flag and StudentFlag. I'm wanting to select each Flag.FlagID that exist as a column that contains the StudentFlag.Value per StudentFlag.StudentID (or null for that column if that StudentFlag row doesn't exist).
This single column appearing multple times in a single dataset has seemed difficult in a select statement. Is it posible in T-SQL?
