Java Program Crashes All The Time After About 3 Seconds
Mar 2, 2015
Every time I open a java program (netbeans, mc) it crashes after about 3sec. The aplications works when I run java 32-bit but I can't run anything with more then 1,5Gb of ram and if I change to 64 (deleting 32-bit and installing 64-bit)the aplications just crashes after 3sec. I've tried running both java 7 and 8 but it still crashes. I believe it's a problem with windows 10 but I'm not sure...
Error: Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I am trying to run a program with Java software in Windows 10, yet it is not letting me. I have been reading that it has been an issue after the update.
Installed Build 10565 yesterday and everything works great except Hearts. Event viewer indicated it might be a Java problem so I downloaded the latest Java but that hasn't worked.
After installing and enjoying Windows 10 for a few weeks, I am having problems with the Photo app. I was able to open it up with no problems and it showed me all my pictures but I few days ago, I opened it up and it quit after a few seconds. I kept open it with the same results: it opens , acts as if it is loading some pictures but it quits by itself after about 5-7 seconds.
I am providing with an error report from Windows 10.
Description Faulting Application Path:C:WindowsSystem32backgroundTaskHost.exe Problem signature Problem Event Name:MoAppCrash Package Full Name:Microsoft.Windows.Photos_15.827.16340.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe Application Name:praid:App
When I click on the people app. The app hangs and instantly crashes a few seconds later. Also we are less than 2 weeks until the official release of Windows 10 and they still haven't fixed the people app.
I have Windows 10..Just recently I have found that when I open a folder on my desktop which opens in maximized mode, and then go ahead and click to restore the window to a smaller size, instead of doing so, the window restores to the width of the three buttons at the top (minimize, restore, close) and then the file explorer window crashes and freezes for a few seconds, my screen goes black for a few seconds, then I am returned to the desktop, where the window has closed. Is this a sign of hard drive corruption?
So recently I installed a new driver supplied from the GeForce Experience app. I believe it was version 361.43 or so. After installation, I turned off my computer. Come back next day. Turn on laptop, computer bugs out after signing in, then crashes... Now, Windows 10 responded with a few errors. First came DPC watchdog violation. Then came something like nvidkrnl or something. Then nvid something something Fatal error. Finally came less than or equal to. All error reports came on separate occasion. The second and third errors are recurring. Now, I tried uninstalling everything related to Nvidia to see if the issue will be gone (as this has happened before. Uninstalling everything fixed it last time ). None of my recovery points are present.
I've just installed Windows 10 Build 10122 on my SP3 (finally) and I have a problem. The old people app seems not to be correctly installed and I'm not able to uninstall it...
And the new People app and Store (Beta) opens but crashes after a few seconds...
So, beginning the other day my computer has been having this problem where everything becomes unresponsive except for whatever I currently have open.
To explain: When I start up my computer, if I first open up an internet browser, I can no longer click on anything on the desktop or taskbar or anything. If I have multiple programs open, such as my browser, Skype, and Steam, only one of them will ever work. Clicking on any of the others does nothing, and Alt-Tabbing will take me to the different programs, but only one is ever responsive at a time.
A temporary fix (i.e. a 15 second fix) is to CTRL-ALT-Delete into Task Manager, which for some reason allows all the programs to once again work. However, whichever one I go into for more than 10 seconds, that one becomes the only one to work, and the problem persists.
I've done two system restores, but they solved nothing. I even updated to Windows 10 to try and fix it, but no luck. My hope is to not have to do a full factory reset.
I am running windows 10 and have the latest version of iTunes on my PC. Whenever i connect my iPhone 6 and sync however, the syncing process reaches step 3 (Preparing to copy items), a small window pops up saying "iTunes has stopped working" and under this it says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
Installing Java on my (fairly) new Windows 10 64-bit machine. On my previous version of Windows (Windows 7 64-bit), I had Java (32 bit and 64 bit) installed, and it worked perfectly. However, I can not get it to install on my current machine, no matter what I do?
I downloaded the offline installer for Java 32 bit, and 64 bit, from the manual download page: Java Downloads for All Operating Systems. Upon trying to run the 32 bit installer (which you are supposed to install first), nothing appeared to happen. So I left it for about 20 minutes, and found it still wasn't doing anything when I came back. So I brought up my task manager to check if anything was running in the background, and found "Java Platform SE Binary (32 bit)" running there. As it appeared to be doing nothing, I ended it, and tried running it again, only for the same thing (nothing) to happen.
I then tried the 64 bit installer, thinking maybe something had changed, and Windows 10 just didn't need the 32 bit version (upon later research finding that this is an incorrect assumption on my part). Same story with the 64 bit installer as well.
Frustrated, I tried to search my computer, to see if it had added anything. There were no new program entries, and no Java section in my Control Panel, but there was a new folder in my Appdata, LocalLow, called "Oracle," containing a Java folder, with a "jre1.8.0_65.msi" file.
I tried to run the MSI file, but got the following message: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I tried their official support on this matter: Error 1721: There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. But none of the listed steps, even all used in conjunction, did anything.
I also tried their online installer, rather than the offline one (even though I need to use the offline ones in the end, because I need 64 bit), and it had the same issues.
In short, I run the installer, and nothing happens, no window, no errors, it just runs in the background indefinitely. I have tried installing in safe-mode, verifying/repairing my system files, running the installer in all available compatibility modes and as administrator, turning off my firewall and anti-virus softwares, and nothing has worked thus far.
I was trying to open a jar file, so I opened with any other program like adobe reader, didn't work.
I realized I needed to install Java, and did, but now it wont choose java as one of the apps to use to open it.
I've tried a lot of things before asking this, including downloading Java, setting it's destination to the desktop, and tried using the executable files in that to run the .jar, so now I can't tell if any of those files are the correct Java.
I noticed recently on Teamspeak that I've got some packet loss, up to 10% at a time. This has shown itself in games as well, most notably League of Legends where my ping will be stable, yet I lose control of my character for up to five seconds at a time. I tried doing a test on pingtest.net but it says that Java doesn't seem to be installed on my browser, why? I've un-installed and re-installed Java but it still says this message: "Pingtest.net requires Java for packet loss testing, but it does not appear to be installed in your browser. Click here for assistance."
My computer is Windows 10 64-bit and i cannot install java. I have almost tried everything,i have downloaded all the latest versions of java offline and online and it still doesn't work i have tried installing older versions but still nothing happens. I click the java installer, I click yes and nothing happens. i cannot play several games with this problem.
I seem to have two instances of Java installed on my Win10 Pro 64-bit Laptop .. see screenshot below. Can I safely uninstall one of them?
If "yes" then which one? I have no clue how I ended up with 2 x Java installs on my laptop. I'm assuming I should keep the 64-bit install, and delete the other? I use Chrome as my usual browser, but very occasionally use Edge
I've been having this issue with Java Update Scheduler running on his own and ramming my CPU usage to 80%, 10 to 15 minutes every time after I boot the PC, and every time I need to manually close it. I've searched it up online and people recommended setting s manual task scheduler for it, I did, it didn't work .
Some people recommended disabling "check for updates" in the Java configure window but I didn't even have Java installed, where this came from and how that process starts and why. So I installed Java, disabled updates and I still get this issue every time I boot the PC, I officially give up since I don't know what to do anymore.
