Aug 7, 2015I have a secondary screen set up for movies or whatever while I play games and other things, there is a problem with dragging any program screen over to the secondary screen. For some reason when I try to drag it over it will just get stuck on the side of the screen and go half or quarter screen rather than breaking through to the other side. Is there a way for me to make it so I can still half and quarter screen but if I keep on pushing it, it will go on through to the second screen? or just make it so I can bring it to the second screen without the snapping?

BSOD :: Blue Screens All Time
Nov 19, 2015Here are minidumps of the past several bluescreens, and a full memory dump of the most recent one. I've been getting these for various reasons - I already fixed a few problems with programs chewing up hard disk and causing crashes due to this, but I recently started getting them again at random times and I can't figure out the root cause. Attached is the official folder of stuff from the tool. The event log will include additional unexpected power losses because occasionally it completely freezes and I have to hard reset. I'm hoping it's not hard-drive failure because it often fails for different reasons.

Sep 8, 2015I'm using 3 screens, and I have moved the taskbar to the middlescreen. But when I press the startbutton the start menu pops up on the screen to the left, which isnt really that great. Is it possible to move the start menu so that it pops up on the middlescrren instead of the one to the left?

BSOD :: Several Crashes - Blue Screens?

All Screens Are Small When Returning From Screensaver
Sep 25, 2015I use a 32" LED TV as a monitor. I have for the last 4 years happily through Windows 7 and 8.1.
Since moving over to Windows 10 if I walk away from my desktop for an extended period my screen is switched off as I expect but, when i jiggle my mouse the screen wakes up okay but ALL my screens have been resized much smaller.
This effects Firefox (full screen), Skype and even my 4 screens on my Arduino microprocessor IDE.
I have my display setting to "turn off after 30 minutes" and "sleep" never. Strangely it has to be much longer than that for the effect to happen. If I go away for, say, 50 minutes. Come back, jiggle the mouse - everything comes back okay. But if I go away for 90 minutes or more, for instance, all the screens are semi minimised when I jiggle mouse and the monitor (TV) wakes up.
Very annoying to have to resize all my screens every time. I have checked all my settings (they are unchanged for years) and it never happened before I updated to W10.

Aug 12, 2015My Windows 10 PC seems to be working OK but I notice that between the Windows 10 splash screen and the user sign on page there's a period of time when the screen simply goes black. The system does get to the sign on page but black screens freak me out a bit...
Also when I log off I'm seeing the same thing. With Windows 10 when I shut down there's a brief period when the screen is simply black and I'm now having to rely on the sound of my machine turning off vs. the visual queues that I had under Windows 7.
Blue Screens And Web Browser Crashes
Jan 28, 2016so after countless fresh installs and cleaning and checking my hardware, i am still getting blue screens. i have seen "PAGE FAULT IN NON-PAGE AREA" and "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" and "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". maybe there have been others but these are the main bsod's. These bsod's sometimes follow my web browser crashing. Other times, the blue screens come out of nowhere. on a side note, the flash player and adBlock software sometimes crash. Also sometimes chrome just says the "aw snap" page and i have to refresh multiple times for it to work. if it doesnt work, then what usually follows is one of the BSOD's above.
None of the blue screens have error codes, just the names. And actually as i was typing the last sentence, my pc froze, then resumed, then instantly started lagging in my keystrokes, then gave me the PAGE FAULT blue screen above. my last fresh install was going very well until i downloaded and started the install wizard for the Logitech Gaming App for my logitech g930 mic. after i accepted the terms and went to the next page to choose file location, this all started and wont stop. just like the other fresh installs. but this is the first time i went long without problems.
I forgot to add that crashes also SOMETIMES instantly happen when i try to download games, update games, or install directx and things of the like for my games

PC Gets Blue Screens And Restart Loops
Dec 18, 2015So today i suddenly got a bluescreen but thought it wasn't anything special so I continued using my pc.
A few hours later my PC shut down and when I try to turn it on it either instantly reboots after i get to the login screen. When it restarts it has had these messages:

Blue Screens - Different Error If Overclocked
Dec 27, 2015So I upgraded windows 10 from win 7 this summer, and it's been bugging since the beginning. Small things like when I am at the login screen I don't see that I write anything and when in windows and u press the windows key, under the "most used" apps there is nothing shown even tho if i click on the area different apps will launch.. So visual bugs I've had since I did the install. Today my computer crashed and I haven't been able to log in since.
My specs are:
gtx560ti
i5k
650W
8gig
I have overclocked the CPU to 4.3k.
So the Windows logo launches, but before I get to the login screen I get bluescreen with the smiley, and the error WHEA_uncorrectable_error. I changed my CPU to stock settings, so no more overclock. This time I get another error. Machine_check_exception..
I test overclock vs stock settings over and over, and always get the different errors depending on which option I use.
After a few crashes on overclock, I get the option to launch in Safe Mode. This works. Other options "search for problems with windows" (or smth like that I dont have english client) does NOT work. Choosing the option to remove all programs but save files also does NOT work.
I have changed position of my RAM and tried stock and overclock CPU settings without any difference. I have run windows 10 RAM test without any problems.
I have tried to reinstall windows 7 (since I have that on disc) but I get bluescreen every time I try (dont know which error code I get here)
Summary: WHEA_uncorrectable_error or machine_check_expcetion errors when launching windows, depending on if CPU is clocked or not. RAM works fine. Safe Mode windows works. Blue screen when trying to install windows 7
Multiple Screens Of Different DPI Show Blurry Text

Win10 with 3 monitors: 4k 27" monitor and two 24" 1920x1080 monitors.
Windows suggested 150% dpi for the 4k and 100% for the others.
4k looks great but the 24" (with 100% dpi!) looks terrible. The text is all blurry.
I saw many similar issues [URL] ....and tried the registry changes, but all fixes (including the utility that is out there) set all monitors to the same DPI.
I can't do 100% in the 4k, it's too small, and I must do 100% in the small screens, otherwise it's too big. Got latest drivers for my GeForce GTX 970 and monitors (vendors drivers for all monitors). I really don't want to let go of my 4k, but it is impossible to use the other ones.
I attached an example for when the 4k is d/c (top) and when it is connected (bottom) from the 24" monitor. it is not really text but is shows how terrible it is, I simply can't read for more than a few minutes.

Right now, they all open on Monitor 2 (primary). How to make it if I click on an icon on T1 it'll always open on M1 and T2 on M2?

With windows 10 they have given us the ability to snap a window to a side, that's great but when i want to move it to the other screen, its gets irritating, how do i get around this? I just want to disable the snapping of windows when my mouse goes near the middle of my two monitors, it was good on windows 7. I hope i have explained this correctly, its quite difficult mind.
BSOD :: Power Outage - Now Blue Screens
Aug 12, 2015I had a power outage a few days ago, and now my Windows 10 Pro has random Blue Screen problems.
My system was running fine before, did the Windows 10 Upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro no problem.
I'm pretty sure the outage stopped my machine and potentially corrupted files.
I just happened to have new ram for the machine that I hadn't installed yet, so I put that in just to make sure my RAM was good.
The Blue Screens happen at random times, even when I haven't touched the machine after reboot. It will just blue screen again after a few minutes to a couple of hours.
I have the Samsung XP941 and ASRock Z97 Extreeme 9 Motherboard.
I'm hoping it hasn't damaged my Samsung card/HD.
It's hard to tell anything with that M.2 SSD drive.
No real diagnostic software or firmware stuff from Samsung anyways.
BSOD :: When Using Pot Player And Black Screens When Gaming
Dec 14, 2015I recently built a computer and am having a few issues. The most recent problems (BSODs - MEMORY_MODULE, IRQL) came while watching videos through Pot Player, which I had just installed.
While not a BSOD, my computer monitor has gone black a number of times while playing even low-intensity games. The computer itself stays on, but my only choice is to reboot. I have monitored temperatures of both the CPU and GPU, and they both stay fairly low (CPU- 35-40C, GPU 45C). I am not OCing. For reference, my outputs are HDMI to monitor, DisplayPort to A/V Receiver, and optical to receiver.
I believe I have the latest BIOS firmware, graphics drivers, etc. I ran 2 passes of memtest without error. I'm worried that there might be a hardware issue, but I don't know where to start.
I can't add a 2nd system spec to my profile, so here are the particulars for this computer:

Boot Loop And Blue Screens After Update
Jul 31, 2015So this is not my personal computer, but this is my mom's computer. Its an HP Slimline Desktop computer, not sure about the exact model but it is running with an AMD Athlon X2 B24, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, AMD R5 240 and a Corsair Neutron 120GB SSD.
Everything was working fine when it was running a legitimate OEM copy of Windows 7 Home. However, after the Windows 10 upgrade process, it got stuck in "Welcome Back" Screen and she told me after she clicked "Next" the cursor started spinning, and it rebooted. Now after checking it, Windows wouldn't load to the desktop, it would just go on a bootloop and blue screens.
She didn't back anything up before the upgrade. I do not know what to do.

Jan 8, 2016I have had a number of blue screens over the last few months, typically occurring a few times a week, and mostly displaying a different error each time. I have noticed it typically happens while on YouTube, gaming, or video editing. I ran Memtest for 3 passes with no errors. Also, I have tried to run driver verifier, but that just resulted in an infinite restart loop (no blue screens) that finally ended after seeing the error below, and I was able to disable driver verifier in safe mode.
I think the graphics card may be causing the issue as I have also noticed frequent game crashes and video corruption when watching movies. I tried reinstalling the graphics card driver however that didn't fix the issue. Should I replace my graphics card or is there another solution?
